Caring Touch.

Caring Touch is a group of volunteers dedicated to staying in touch with the senior members of our congregation who are pretty much home-bound or residing in assisted living or nursing home facilities. Our goal is to keep in touch through visits, calls, and cards. In the past few years, we have been fortunate enough to find funding to put together care baskets for our recipients several times a year in addition to forming caroling groups to serenade our special folks during the Christmas season.

People gathered outside a brick house at night, participating in a Christmas caroling event, with two women singing on the porch, one wearing a Santa hat, and others holding song sheets.

Our Next Meeting will be on Sunday, September 28th, between services. We’ll be consistent in location and use the room across from the Luther room. After reviewing our list and giving updates, we will plan our Fall treat with the hope that we can put them together and deliver the following week. The scrappers are working on a fall decoration. If there are any baked goods left from the Fall Festival we will use them! :)
